TCS Loading Coil Wiring Mystery

S-103 wired to the front of L108 TCS-13

          Q. Why is the Antenna Loading Coil L108 wired differently on different TCS series ? The "front" of the coil goes to S-103 on my TCS-13 and on my TCS-9 ( shown below)S-103 is connected to the "rear" of the roller inductor L108.

          Q. Was this change in wiring only for the TCS-13 or was it introduced in other earlier series of TCS transmitters follwing the TCS-9.

          Q. What happens to "Typical Dial Readings"? Chart shown below.

The "rear" of the Antenna Loading Coil on my TCS-9 is wired to S-103.

I have seen the L108 Antenna Loading Coil wired differently on several sets over the years,  I have solved what I think iis a possible reason for the change but present these photos here for your review and possible comments. A "TCS Mystery"?

With the different wiring of the Antenna Loading Coil L108 on different sets what happens to charts like this?

Does "Zero" indicate minimum inductance on my TCS-13 and on the TCS-9 ?- - --they are both wired differently.
